About AYOA

Growth and Success through Music

Adirondack Youth Orchestra Association was founded in 1985 to establish a forum for talented young musicians to perform symphonic music from a variety of historical periods and share their talents with the North Country.

AYOA gives area youth the opportunity to refine technique, develop professional habits, perform as a team, and grow through meaningful ensemble experiences with peers from across the region.

Mission

AYOA provides North Country students with opportunities to grow musically through rehearsal, performance, discipline, and shared artistic excellence.

Community

Musicians are recruited from across the region, creating a welcoming space where students build teamwork, confidence, and lasting connections through music.

Support

AYOA is sustained by dedicated families, teachers, donors, sponsors, and public arts support that help keep youth music thriving in the North Country.
